The team has many years of experience in digital payments, data science, consumer behaviour, loyalty, and performance marketing in multiple countries and industries, including financial services, government, automotive, F& B, Hospitality, FMCG, PSPs, and Aggregators.
Chris is the founder and CEO of Mobideals and has more than thirty years of experience in payments, having worked with FAB, ENBD, Ahli United Bank, SAMBA, Arab Bank, Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, eDirham, EDWs KLIP; digital financial services director with Djezzy, VEON’s mobile operator in Algeria, and a senior strategy consultant with Deloitte and AT Kearney. He has on the ground experience in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Greece, Algeria, Oman, UK, and Indonesia. He holds an MSc in Management Science from Brunel University and is fluent in Arabic, English, Greek, and French.
John is the founder of Warply, mobideals’ main shareholding company . He studied theoretical physics at UOA, NTUA and University of Cambridge and is actively involved with high performance computing since it’s actualisation in 2004, as a full-time research associate at CERN’s LHC experiment, mining petabytes of real-time events. Continued with GEANT – Europe’s first distributed scientific GRID – focusing on Quantum Monte Carlo meta-materials simulations, generalised quantum search and cryptography algorithms, with interests in applied machine learning and data-mining problems. John is fluent in Greek, English, Italian, and Spanish.
